First Veterans Resource and Transitional Center (F.V.R.T.C)
Aims to improve the well-being of our Heroes, families of those who served and low to middle income families in our surrounding communities and provide them direct services by partnering with veteran organizations, private organizations and educational institutions. Our goal is to improve the physical, emotional, financial, and social well-being of the entire family with a special emphasis on the needs of children.
Innovative, creative, and an excellent visionary Mr. Anthony Cardinal talents are well known, where he was a supplemental police superintendent, created and operated his own private security company, before studying Criminal Justice at John Jay College in New York City. Anthony made his mark in the fashion industry with Guess Jeans and as a designer and production manager with FUBU. He was a consultant, small business developer, brand, copyright, trademark and production management and strategic feasibility study planning inland location, and building construction. Mr. Cardinal also created Starz Entertainment a promotional marketing and fundraising company, specializing in business franchising. Anthony main responsibilities is with First Veterans Resource and Transitional Center (F.V.R.T.C), which includes the management and administrative oversight of the organization and the recruitment of board members who have a passion for the welfare of Our Heroes’ families, for those who served.
From 1988 to 1991, Anthony managed a 4500 sq. ft fitness facility. In 2005, Anthony served as the president of Highland Homes Owner’s Association (HOA). Than from 2011 to 2013 Mr. Cardinal served on the board of the Orlando VA Medical Center. In addition, in 2011 Anthony served as a board member at Prosperities Leadership Academy, a school specializing in helping at risk-students who struggled academically. Due to his background in feasibility study professional business development for many celebrities, lead Mr. Cardinal to make a huge impact in making a difference in the lives of veterans and the community.
Anton D. Cardinal
Co-Founder / President
Anton Cardinal is the face of the organization and represents F.V.R.T.C in the community leadership. He assumes responsibility for major projects, Board of Directors, and responsibility for the entire organization. As President, Anton works collaboratively with the Board of Directors leading the executive staff to formulate policies and strategic plans to meet the vision of the organization's short- and long-term objectives by ensuring that the flow of funds permits the organization to make continuous progress towards the achievement of its mission.
In addition, Anton is also an accomplished athlete. As captain of his wrestling team he received All District and All Regional awards. An avid martial arts student and instructor and Sensei Anton is a three time Taekwondo regional, state and national black belt champion and, after receiving martial artist of the year he was inducted into the Black Belt Hall of Fame. Anton is currently attending college, pursuing a degree in Business.
What he has done. Leadership Training – Junior Reserve Officers Corps (JROTC) Training. As a cadet in Ridge High school JROTC, he obtained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and the position of Battalion Commander. He participated in change of command parades, Physical Training, Cadet Challenges conducting inspections and preparing cadets for army JROTC Annual Formal Inspections (AFI) which culminated in their corps receiving a Gold Star rating.

Ancil Cardinal has always been in leadership roles. Starting from a young age he was the captain of the police explorers with 390 plus community service hours. With the guidance of his father Anthony Cardinal, who has 30 plus years of business experience, has influenced and allow Ancil to excel in the business and medical field. In addition, Ancil is a license practical nurse, and has an associates in arts degree in liberal arts. Ancil also obtained his IV, CPR, and first Aid certification.
Ancil is a member of the National Technical, Honor Society. He is continuing his education in the business and medical field through the help of First Veterans Transitional Recourse Center. By having a family of his own, Ancil’s passion is to assist children and adults to become better citizen in the community. Through the organization Ancil is allowed to collaborate with the executive board to create programs and areas that will serve the mission and vision of the organization.
Larry Raymond PMP
Director of Projects
Larry Raymond is an experienced Project Director and Volunteer with the
First Veterans Resource & Transitional Center in Florida. His varied career includes; business management consulting; project management, development and delivery; contract administration; labor relations and strategic negotiation; management accounting and business administration.
Larry has attained the post graduate diploma level leading to the completion of an MBA in Strategic Negotiation from the Heriot Watt University and is a Certified Project Management Professional, who has also attained the professional level with Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. He has also received certificates from the University of the West Indies in the subjects of Architectural Drafting, Civil Engineering Measurements, Maintenance of Civil Engineered Structures, Quantity Surveying, Estimating and Cost Planning and Building Construction Supervision. He is well known and recognized as a Labor Relations Advisor and Negotiator and has served as the President in a nationally known Labor Union for over 10 years.
Sharon Lee currently serves as the Executive Secretary of FVRTC and Samaria Shining Light Helping Organization, Inc. Sharon Lee was born in Trinidad and Tobago, has lived in New York, Texas and Maryland and now resides in Central Florida. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Theology, Counseling and General Studies, certifications in StartUp Quest, HHA, Domestic Violence and HIPPA. She also has a Life Insurance License and has over 20 years in Customer Service.
Sharon is a firm believer in personal improvement, education and enrichment. She enjoys the outdoors, meeting people and trying new things. She is an avid singer and traveler. She is an Osceola County resident and homeowner for eight years. An active participant in community activities, Sharon is been involved as a Chaplain and a minister, volunteering for various churches, schools and organizations with the aim of bringing change and improvement to individuals within the community.
Sharon is married to Minister Patrick Lee and is the proud mother of two daughters, Vianna and Tiana.
Stacey is a vibrant, engaging, and energetic leader with a strong, proven record of achievement with over fifteen years of business experience. She has been fortunate in her years in the public sector to work and collaborate in the following areas: Event Management, Event Planning, Park Events Operations, Media Relations, Public and Community Relations, Leadership Development, Brand Loyalty, Marketing and Sales Management, Business Development, Recruiting, Hospitality and Customer Relations, Market Research and Analytics, and Business Sector Liaison.
Prior to her current role with FVRTC Stacey held positions with many major corporations and foundations such as Walt Disney World, Peace Corps, UNICEF, United Way, Varga Market Research, Z88.3 FM, Sparkle With Me, American Red Cross, Macy’s, R&D Self-Defense, and Gifted Hands by Joy.
Stacey serves diligently and continuously by example ensuring the execution of the FVRTC vision, mission, values, and morals. She is steadfast in recognizing, and maintaining the policies contributing to FVRTC legacy and success for our veterans, veteran’s families, community, clients, and business partners.
